La Paz Accommodations
For trips beginning and/or ending in La Paz, we normally reserve your stay at the Hotel Marina, a hotel that was built in 1994 as part of a tourist development that included a yacht club, condominiums, and marina villas. Please advise us if you would like us to reserve additional hotel nights either before or after your trip.

Loreto Accommodations
In Loreto, you will stay at the lovely Hacienda Suites, built in an authentic Mexican hacienda style. You will find yourself surrounded by beautiful gardens, palm trees and a swimming pool where you can relax and refresh your body and mind.

 

For our San Ignacio Whale Watching trips, which depart from San Diego, we recommend the Hacienda Hotel, a secluded hillside resort with bay and city views in the Old Town district of San Diego. Old Town has over 40 restaurants, 150 shops and a historic state park. If you are flying into San Diego, Hacienda Hotel has free airport shuttle service, while secured parking is provided for guests that are driving to town for $12/night.

To reserve your room, call the hotel and let them know you are traveling with the Baja Expeditions group and you will receive the reduced rate of $119/night. At this time you can not get the reduced rate online. Call 1-619-298-4707 for reservations.

Note: You may choose to stay in any hotel you wish but you must be in the lobby of the Hacienda Hotel to meet your group by 6:15 AM on the first day of your trip.
