Twice-daily skiff rides take you to the whale viewing area, where you'll experience the thrill of friendly whales surfacing just a few feet away.

Whale Watching Jan - Mar
Explore the islands and coast between La Paz and Loreto as you cruise aboard the Don Jose. On this voyage of discovery, you'll share some of the same experiences Steinbeck recorded in his book, "The Log from the Sea of Cortez." These rich waters feed the world’s largest animals, blue and finback whales, among many marine mammals, from dolphins to sea lions. Kayaking and snorkeling add to the amazing whale and bird watching that are hallmarks of this cruise.

We’ll take skiffs out among gray whales in beautiful Magdalena Bay, where thousands come to mate and rear their young. Later, help monitor sea turtles with local conservationists, with time to stroll, paddle, swim or snorkel by sand dunes, unspoiled beaches and mangrove estuaries.
