Wildlife Live-Aboard Voyage

Explore the Mechudo Corridor, the islands and coast between La Paz and Loreto, as you cruise aboard sailing Catamaran El Mechudo! On this voyage of discovery, you'll share some of the same experiences John Steinbeck recorded in his book "The Log from the Sea of Cortez." Join us as we follow the migrations of the blue, fin, Minke, humpback, sperm, and orca whales. Curious common and bottlenose dolphins often approach our vessel and surf the waves of our bow wakes. A portion of the proceeds from your expedition goes to support local environmental education and conservation research programming.

You will enjoy comfortable on-board accommodations, anchorages in protected bays, a small-group setting, a knowledgeable naturalist, an experienced captain and delicious meals freshly prepared by our first mate/chef, as well as opportunities for guided hikes up arroyos and canyons filled with songbirds, lizards and highly adapted desert plants, and snorkeling among an array of tropical fish and unique invertebrates.
