Socorro Giant Mantas, Dolphins & 12 Species of Sharks

Socorro is like an oasis in the Pacific Ocean. Not easy to get to but beautifully worthwhile. It's not just lots of mantas, but these gentle giants want to interact with us through the most amazing interspecies communication. This magical connection has been integral to Socorro since our inaugural exploration in 1978. Additionally, about 15 years ago, dolphins began emulating the mantas, fostering pod interactions with bottlenose dolphins on nearly every expedition. Socorro isn't just about mantas; it's about the captivating harmony among these species

All of the crew were exceptionally warm and hospitable. They all met and even anticipated needs and really spoiled us. The dive masters were very knowledgeable and always kept us safe and did their best to help us find exciting wildlife. Really high praise for every crew member. The food was great so compliments to the chef.

Great experience overall, the dives were great and had no issues at all there in regards to operations or food. Any ship/room issues were dealt with quickly.

The whole crew were great, they all did a wonderful job! Special shout out to chef Luis for the great food, Pascal on the dingy did a great job awesome guy, and all the dive guides for holding the group together.

I THOUGHT CHEF WAS FUNNY AND DELIGHTFUL. HE AND I SHARED THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO BE A DIVER AND I REALLY HOPE HE DOES. ALL DGS MADE ME SAFE AND IT WAS EASY TO TRUST THEM WITH MY LIFE. I AM PRIOR NAVY SERVED ON 5 AIRCRAFT CARIERS AND WAS OUT AT SEA MANY TIMES. THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING CREW. BRAVO ZULU TO THE CAPTAIN AND 1ST OFFICER AND THEIR CREW.
