Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2023-06-27

Today we started early. Panga left at 6.30 and headed to Punta Arenas. MW followed the panga to Punta Arenas but before getting there I got a message saying that there were some 20-plus sperm whales around so we got the coordinates and got the panga to go there first. Sure, there was the sperm whale blowing all around us. The guest stayed with the whale from 9 to 5.30 this afternoon. We counted 26 at one frame shot from the surface.

Water temp 78f vis 70ft wind from the SE 5-10 knots.
