Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2024-03-26

Good afternoon people!!

Yesterday was a hit, after snorkeling with the sea lions we headed south of Espiritu santo and stopped at corralito for a snorkel and some beach time. While our guests where at the beach, chef victor and myself prepared some carne asada on the grill and was our taco night. Guests loved it.

Then we made our way slowly towards Zorrillito where we spend the night. But on our way, we encountered a misplaced humpback, some scattered mobulas and a small pack of dolphins between Candelero and la Dispensa.

This morning, we started very early at 6:30 in the morning so we can make it on time to Marina Don Jose to say good bye to our guests. At the moment we are heading back to Espiritu santo island to pick up our next guests.

Our plan is to navigate to Ensenada Grande and spend the night there, we are expecting strong winds for the night and tomorrow hopefully we can be able to do some navigation and dives around the area.

Local weather 24* clear sunny skies with mild to strong winds 7 to 10 knts in the following hours.
