Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind – 2023-09-11

Reporting from Mango Wind.

After a coffee and cold breakfast, Juan gave our guests some samples and exercises of the skills that will be required in the water. Around 9:00am, I took them to a shelter and shallow water so they can do their exercises.

Around 10:30 we spotted a group of orcas and decided to follow them on board the Mango Wind. So, we followed them all the way to the green buoy and then decided to sail along towards Espiritu santo island. At the moment we are just in front of San Gabriel Bay

Tonight, we will spend the night at Candelero where the guests did another skills dive. Plus they will be able to use the kayaks and maybe go for a hike once the sun let us go to land and enjoy a trail.
