Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2025-04-29

Good afternoon to all,

So far the start of our show hasn’t showed yet, but our morning was beautifully interrupted by two humpbacks fully jumping out of the water while our guests were getting ready to board Cornuda just about a mile and a half from where we are hankered at Bay of Dreams.

So everybody hurry and board so our guests could take a closer look.

After the quick show Cornuda headed south to Fridas’s house (reference of a blue house locals have) searching for mobulas but no luck during the morning, then they headed towards Cerralvo where they found a huge pod of dolphins and interact with them several times.

We provide Cornuda with lunch and several snacks so they had lunch on a beach at Cerralvo today the afternoon it’s been quite peaceful, no reports on chats or radio about activity. Willy just contacted me and he said he found some mobulas close to the light house but they are not being so cooperative, as soon they go in the water mobulas just disappear.

Although yesterday late afternoon was the cherry on the cake with two blue whales south of Bay of Dreams at first Cornuda and other two pangas where following the blues but after 30 min Cornuda was left alone and was able to have some very good interaction with them.

Whether conditions for today partly cloudy with a max of 31c, northerly winds 8 knts max and now 5 knts

Guests and crew doing well.
