Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2025-06-12

Afternoon,

Long day today, early jump with the mobulas at Punta arenas and then headed north to la Reina where we did a nice dive, we heard that mantas where on the area and tried to get lucky but they were not there.

Guests saw some octupus, turtles, eels, reef fish and of course the sea lions.

After that we went to north tip of la Reina and then to la Reinita where we had lunch, wind blew strong after mid-day.

We stayed on the beach while wind calmed down a bit and then continue our journey towards Punta Gorda found some mobulas.

Whether conditions where in 35c maximum clear skies, 11knts from the south with 3 ft swells, water temp 27. Guests and crew doing good,
