Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2025-06-20

After breakfast, the guests left Punta Gorda. Soon, they found a school of bottlenose dolphins and spent some time watching them. They continued to explore the area, navigating the Cerralvo channel in search of mobulas.

Later, they headed to the San Lorenzo Canyon area for a snorkelling activity at Swan Reef. After the activity, they continued with the marine search.

After lunch, a report of orca sightings in the La Reina area was received. The group headed for the area and was successful in the meeting. They managed to observe them.

With this they concluded the activities of the day and returned to the boat to rest.

Report of June 20

After breakfast, the guests set sail from the El Gallo area heading to Los Isolotes. Upon arrival, they boarded the panga to see marine fauna. During the activity, a fin whale appeared with its offspring, which they could observe for a moment.

Later, they continued sailing through the eastern area of Espiritu Santo Island, where they also sighted bottlenose dolphins. Later they went to the bay of San Gabriel to observe birds, especially frigates, thus completing the morning sighting activity.

After returning to the boat, the food was served. In the afternoon, the guests sailed to El Merito, where they took the afternoon off. They enjoyed the sunset and had their last dinner on board, ending the day with a special thank you for the experience.
