Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2025-06-22

Today’s report

After breakfast, one of the guests went out for a dive in Suwannee Reef. Meanwhile, I stayed on the boat waiting for another guest, who arrived at 11:00 a.m.

Once the boat returned, I went out to meet the panga. After finishing the diving activity, the guests searched for móbulas to the east side of Espíritu Santo Island, touring areas such as Pailebote, Lovera Vieja and La Partida, to return to the boat in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, when they resumed navigation, they went out again in search of móbulas, this time in the areas of El Coyote, Puerto Mejía and Las Cruces, until they reached Punta Gorda, where they did a snorkeling activity.

At the end of the snorkeling, on the way back to the boat, they managed to spot a group of bottlenose dolphins. Finally, they returned on board to enjoy the sunset and a delicious dinner.

Environmental conditions of the day:

• Air temperature: 31 °C

• Water temperature: 28 °C

• Weather: Sunny with some scattered clouds

• Wind direction: Northwest
