Today’s report
After breakfast, the guests went out to sail for mobulas in the Punta Arena area. No sighting was achieved, so we continued sailing to the southern tip of Cerralvo Island, where snorkeling activities were carried out on the reef.
When they finished snorkeling, they decided to continue sailing through the western part of the island, heading to La Reina. During the journey, between La Reinita and the northern tip of Cerralvo, we find a school of tropical dolphins. The guests were able to observe them and swim with them, as they approached voluntarily. It was a very good experience for everyone.
We continued to La Reina, where they snorkeled with sea lions. At the end of this activity, we begin the return to the boat. On the way, we met the tropical dolphins again, which allowed a second chance to observe and appreciate them calmly.
Back to the boat, we served the food. In the afternoon, with a good wind from the south, we decided to hoist the sails and sail through the Cerralvo channel. The sailing activity lasted throughout the afternoon, with a very good response from the guests, who enjoyed the experience a lot. We closed the day by anchoring in El Saltito for dinner.
