Captain’s Noon Reports – San Ignacio– 2025-04-09

Today was really sunny; there was no wind all day.

Two whale watching in the morning with slow activity. Two whales get close in one encounter, but nobody touches.

We receive a new group from Lux. 2 pax on the airplane. The 2 guests went out with Minerva but just made one ww.

Around 4 pm, Lucy arrived at camp driving the Tacoma. A guest was playing volleyball all afternoon. They want to go to the turtles tomorrow, and they will confirm at dinner time.

I sent Mauricio this morning on one of the pangas out of the area on the Pacific side. He went out 5 miles south, He saw 8 whales outside, 3 mom & calf, and five singles, he said, are in the north direction.

The airplane pilot didn’t see anything coming north. I asked if he could come the next day’s flying over the coast from Magbay to here. He said he will do it.
