Captain’s Noon Reports – Mango Wind– 2023-06-05

We anchor in the cove El Merito where it’s protected and calm. Last night was nice with wind from the South SW temp very cool.

All the guests were up early this morning to see the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. We did the safety briefing and safety stuff such as lifeline and safety stuff for diving. Thereafter we started to get the dive gear set up so they could go do 2 dives today at La Reina and La Reina.

After the dive with the sea lions, we saw the Mobulas, better known as Popcorn. On the way we stopped to check out a big flock of birds waiting for the marlins and tuna to attack the sardines and to bring them up to the surface so they can have their feast.

All the guests were happy and excited about going to see the sea lions. Water temp 76F visibility  40ft, clear skies, and calm seas.
